Wendell Harrison Cluck was born on August 7, 1925, in Oilton, OK to Sterling and Gertrude Cluck. At the age of 95 years old, he left this earth on January 26, 2021.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, his oldest son, Dale Edward Cluck, and grandson, Brandon Todd Cluck.
He was raised in West Tulsa and attended Webster High School. He graduated early and joined the Navy as a merchant marine where he served in World War II. After serving, he returned home and married the love of his life, Bobbie Nadine Gardner Cluck on August 4, 1950. They in turn raised their four sons in West Tulsa where he was active in the community with youth sports as one of the founders of the Tulsa Blue T club. By trade, he was a master machinist for 47 years.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Bobbie Cluck of Tulsa, Ok; three sons, Danny Cluck and wife Kelli of Glenpool, OK, Don Cluck and wife Debbie of Tuttle, Ok and Dennis Cluck and wife Courtney of Berryhill, Ok; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of extended family members and friends also survive him.
A visitation will be held from 12 pm to 8 pm with family being present from 5 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 pm, Monday, February 1, 2021, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
