Obituary

Ruby Lucille Rodanski, 88, entered into her eternal home on February 16th, 2020, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She was born on November 25th, 1931 in Hammon, Oklahoma, to James and Roxie (Moore) Gwartney.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Martin Rodanski; her parents; her daughter, Judy Ann Goodwin; two sons, Larry and Jimmy Rodanski; her sister, Violet Gwartney; and her brothers, Lloyd and Silvia Gwartney.

Ruby married the love of her life, Joseph Martin Rodanski, on May 19th, 1949, and they spent 70 blissful years together, including throughout his military service. She followed him along through it, traveling along with their three children to Japan, England, and Germany. Although she was Baptist early in life, she found the Catholic church upon marrying Joseph. She loved her family, and adored spending time with them. She spent her days as a homemaker, but in her free time thoroughly enjoyed square dancing, and later in life would often spend time browsing Facebook on her iPad.

She is survived by her son, Joseph L. (and wife Judy) Rodanski of Sapulpa; her daughter-in-law, Starla Rodanski; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Arnold and Clyde Gwartney.
