Linda Sue Fisher

April 27, 1948 ~ February 23, 2020 (age 71)

Obituary

Linda Sue (Purcell) Fisher, 71 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away February 23, 2020, in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was born to Paul Robert and Della Elizabeth Purcell on April 27, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Leroy Purcell, Lloyd Purcell, Owen Purcell Kay Brock and Harold Purcell.

Linda attended Daniel Webster High School. She met the love of her life Robert Fisher while a teenager and they later married. They would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on May 25th of this year. They have always been an example of a loving marriage, an example they set for their two children.

Linda never met a stranger and would always greet everyone with a big smile. She was always a wonderful cook, but she loved baking and sharing her baked goodies made her the happiest. She absolutely loved to decorate Christmas cookies and would spend hours decorating. She was always the loudest cheerleader at her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She had the ability to whistle that would get everyone's attention! Linda's true love was for her family and she so loved being a grandmother to her three grandchildren. The last few years her sickness robbed her of doing many things that brought her joy, but her family and friends are left with the many sweet memories she created.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Fisher; her daughter Tracy Bean and husband Patrick of Berryhill; son Michael Fisher of Jenks; her grandchildren James (J.P.) Bean and wife Alyssa, Ryan Bean, and Danielle Fisher. She is also survived by her numerous family members and friends and especially her friend Doris Young who has been a steadfast friend by her side.
