April 22, 1938 ~ July 21, 2021 (age 83)

Obituary

Barbara Catherine Pritchard, 83, passed away July 21, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born April 22, 1938, in Mobile, Alabama to Ranson Turner and Lillie Hodges.

Barbara’s hobbies included gardening, playing cards with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and listening to gospel music.   She also cherished the vacation trips she took to see family/friends in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and Washington.  Many of those trips included her bringing along grandchildren.   Creating memories was so important to her, and she seized every opportunity to do that for as many of her family members as she could.

Barbara retired from Pepsi in Tulsa, OK, where she worked in accounting for many years, as well as a few years at Warehouse Market.   She always took great pride in her work and felt blessed with the friendships she made.

She was also a member of Freedom Life Church of God.  She considered the amazing people there to be an extension of her family.  They were there for her during the best and worst times in her life, as families are.

She is survived by her daughters; Annette Davis of Yakima, WA, Tammy Collins and husband Troy of Tulsa, OK, sons; Edwards Quick of Tulsa, OK, and Richard Quick of Broken Arrow, OK, brother; Paul Turner and wife Pam of FL, grandchildren; Tiffany Davis and husband Chad, Christopher Davis and wife Laura, Cameron Wink and wife Amanda, Justin Quick, Stephanie Quick, Angela Quick, Courtney Delgado, Richard Quick Jr., Heather Kitchen and husband Matthias, Jacob Quick, Derrick Smith and wife Caryssa, Amanda Beeler and husband Everett, Madison Ramirez and husband Bryan, Kyle Collins, and Cody Collins, and 27 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Jerry Pritchard, parents; Ranson Turner and Lillie Hodges, brothers; George Turner and Joe Turner, grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. George Cola Turner and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tillman.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will take place on August 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the Freedom Life Church of God at 4605 S. Tacoma Ave. Tulsa, OK. 74107.
