Terry Lee Schuler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 16, 1948 to Ruby and Gene Schuler. Known to his friends and family as "Murph." Murph graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1966 and attended Northeastern State University.
Murph and his wife raised their family in West Tulsa and although divorced they remained dear friends until his passing. Murph retired from his position as a Buyer at NORDAM after 30 years of service.
Murph was most known as a musician and a driving force in the Tulsa Sound. He was the soulful lead singer and harmonica player for the Turkey Mountain Troubadours.
Murph loved fishing, reading, the OU Sooners, and cold beer. He was a friend to many and a "Daddy" to two girls who loved him dearly.
Murph passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 18, 2019.
Murph is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jolie and Scott Fralicks; and his daughter and son-in-law Terie and Kyle Clark; grandchildren Brody and Cooper Matthews, Sam and Ava Fralicks, and Averie Clark; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Ann Schuler, and a host of nieces and cousins. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Ruby Schuler.
