Joy Anne Darrough was born March 4, 1983 in Garden City, Kansas the daughter of Donald Gene and Cheryl Lynn (Swope) Pucket. She passed from this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Sand Springs at the age of 36 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Joy was a 2001 graduate of Charles Page High School and received her Bachelor of Art degree from Northeastern State University. She worked as a contracts coordinator and enjoyed reading, baking, gardening and cross stitching. Joy was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Her survivors include mother, Cheryl Pucket of Sand Springs; daughter, Emma Darrough of Broken Arrow; son, Ezra Darrough of Broken Arrow; grandmother, Jo Anne Pucket of Ulysses, Kansas; sisters, Amy Hoyt and husband, David of Sand Springs and Megan Pucket of Sand Springs; brother, Jonathan Pucket and wife, Jennifer of Sapulpa; niece, Annabelle; nephews, Aden, Landon and Kade; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Cecil Pucket and Kenneth and Georgia Swope.
