I served in the Navy.

Brent Allen Thurman was born September 21, 1976 the son of Allen and Kandia (Cox) Thurman. He passed from this life on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 42 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

Brent served his country in the United States Navy and was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, was an OU football fan, and played baseball in his younger years.

His survivors include his parents, Allen and Kandia Thurman of Tulsa; daughter, Katlyn Thurman of Chelsea; sister, Rusty Wilson and husband, Steve of Sapulpa; nephew, Kyle Woodson of Nampa, ID; and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation for Brent will be held 2pm-8pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Heath-Griffith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chuck Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Bixby Cemetery.
