Frances Mae Hanner was born February 12, 1923 in Vinita, Oklahoma the daughter of Eugene Dallas and Ola Faye (Flippen) Ficklin. She passed from this life on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 95 years, 9 months and 26 days.
Frances moved to Tulsa from Vinita when she was 17 years old. She was a homemaker and a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. Frances enjoyed crocheting, cooking and reading.
She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Earl Don Hanner, whom she was married to for 67 years; niece, Francie, whom she raised as a daughter; 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
Her survivors include numerous nieces and nephews including nephew, Bill Woodard, whom she loved like a son, and his wife, Diana of Mannford; numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, including Rebecca Bush and husband, Chad of Mannford and Sara Genzer and husband, Kyle and their children, Brendlee, Brayden and Brycen all of Mannford.
Visitation for Frances will be held 8am to 8pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11am, Friday, December 14, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home and an online guestbook is available by visiting www.heathgriffithfuneralhome.com.
