I will miss seeing Katie's smiling face and she will be forever remembered as the jogging lady (as Jerad called her for so many years). She was very sweet and genuine and I loved when we had the opportunity to chat. We will miss her and your family is in my prayers.

We had only met Kristen a few times for light conversation but that was enough to make an impact on our lives. Her smile was infectious and inviting. We always knew she was a beautiful soul and cannot get used to not seeing her on Scott's daily jogs or my leisure walks around the neighborhood. She will always be missed but if you ever see a small green as we pass along the neighborhood roads, know we are thinking of her, the one who always smiled and waved as we passed by.

Sorry for everyone's loss, haven't seen Katie in years but remember her always having a smile. Her and my daughter Lisa were good friends, I think of them playing soccer and listening to Thriller over and over . RIP

Katie was my good friend and truly a Christian mentor for me. We talked about a lot of things from the mundane to the divine and her faith inspired me to have a deeper faith in Jesus. I will miss her tremendously, but will continue to look up because I know she is with our Heavenly Father. I pray for strength, comfort, and peace for her family.

May your family find comfort as “the hearer of prayer” embraces their heart (Psalms 94:19). Lean on one another for strength and encouragement to stay strong. We hope that the many cards, hugs, kind words, cherished memories, and loving prayers sustains your family during this most difficult time.

Jason, my childhood friend, my Senior Patrol Leader and my fellow Rancher from Hell. Although years have passed since last we spoke, today my heart is broken for you and for your family. May the sun rise warmly upon you and ease your sorrow. May your grief yield quickly to allow room for you to feel only the love and memories you shared. I am truly sorry.

There are no words to explain how heart broken I am over this. It has been years since I last saw Katie in person, but I will never forget her big smile and sweet personality. As a teen, I loved being around her family. Clyde always trying to embarrass us, and Karen always giving words of encouragement. RIP sweet Katie! I will always cherish the memories!

A piece of us has been carried to Heaven, but a piece of Heaven has been left in our hearts. It is difficult to comprehend that Katie is gone, but such a comfort that we have in Christ that she is safe in the arms of our Saviour and we can all see her again in Glory. We love you Katie.
