It is with great sadness that the family of Donald “Donnie” Winningham, 86, announce his passing in the hospital on Nov. 27, 2018 with family by his side. Donnie was born to parents Pierce and Dorothy Winningham. He graduated from Will Rogers High School before serving in the Army in Korea. He and his father operated Tulsa Auto Salvage until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Redah and sisters, Freda Swofford and Jeanne Curry. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Millie Louise; sons, Donald Pierce (Anita) and Paul Kenneth (Stevanna); grandchildren: DJ Winningham, Shauna Ecker (Nick), Nikki Patterson (Daniel) and Joe Winningham; great grandchildren, Nathan, Bryn, Maci and Daisy Winningham, Laila Patterson and Conor Ecker; niece, Carolyn Dollar (Richard); nephews, Glen Swofford (Joanna), Bret Fansler and David Curry; cousins: Phil, Bill and Don Eller of Tulsa, Betty Wagner of McKinney, TX, Chet Williams of Plano, TX, and Ray and Ella Williams of Las Cruces, NM. I’m so sorry to hear Donnie has passed away. He was a wonderful man that you should be very proud of. Always happy to see someone and and he would give you the shirt off of his back.
