Gloria Ann (Jagels) Roettger was born October 11, 1951 in Girard, Kansas the daughter of Paul Bernhardt and Esther Caroline Barbara (Engel) Jagels. She passed from this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 67 years and 5 days.

Gloria was baptized, confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Helper Kansas. Gloria graduated from Girard High School and received an Associate’s degree from St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas. She married William Roettger on December 30, 1972 and moved to Tulsa from Carthage, Missouri in 1989. Gloria was a member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church where she also worked as their office manager. She enjoyed participating in church activities, sewing and gardening.

Her survivors include husband of 45 years, William “Bill” Roettger of Tulsa; daughters, Jennifer Roettger of Tulsa and Andrea Roettger of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Norman Jagels and wife, Linda of Texas and Philip Jagels and wife, Sherry of Kansas; sister, Lorene Hoffman and husband, Mark of Kansas; and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents.

Viewing for Gloria will be held 8:00 am – 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2018 . Family will be present from 4 to 7 pm.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, October 19, 2018 at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2550 E. 71st St., Tulsa. With internment at Floral Haven following.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lutheran Hour Ministries or Crawford County, Kansas 4-H.
