Melinda Chalina Biggoose was born July 24, 1970 the daughter of Marcellus and Jesse (Tsatigh) Biggoose. She passed from this life on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Tulsa at the age of 48 years.

Melinda moved to Tulsa over 15 years ago from Ponca City. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by daughter, Jessica Beaver and husband, Ty Copeland of Tulsa; son, Mohawk Beaver of Lawton; brothers, Marcellus, Charlie and Matthew Biggoose all of Tulsa; sisters, Marissa and Kathy Biggoose both of Tulsa; and grandchildren, Salika and Nova Copeland both of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Viewing for Melinda will be held 2pm-8pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 and 8am-8pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10am, Friday, September 21, 2018 in the Heath-Griffith Funeral Chapel, 1823 West 51st Street. Rev. Paul Tecumseh will officiate.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2pm, Friday, September 21, 2018 in Vann Cemetery, 59936 S. 4651 Road in Watts (Chewey community).
