Michael A. Nozer passed from this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 71 years of age. He was born September 7, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Andrew Charles Nozer and Dorothy Elizabeth (Adrian) Nozer.

Michael has been a resident of Tulsa for over 40 years, and had previously also resided in Florida and Virginia. He attended schools in Virginia before receiving his Bachelor in Business. Michael served our country in the United States Marine Corps, completing two tours in Vietnam, and earning a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal with Palm, a Vietnamese Campaign Medal with Device, a Presidential Unit Citation, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, an Expert Badge (Rifle M-14), a Sharpshooter’s Badge (Pistol, .45), a Good Conduct Medal, and a purple heart recipient. Michael married Roberta Anne Owens on April 4, 1994 in Tulsa. He later was a master dog trainer for military, police, and search and rescue, and also recruited engineers for employment services. Michael was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Andrew Nozer. He leaves behind his wife, Roberta Nozer of Tulsa; his children: Laura Nozer of Tulsa, Kristen Nozer of Tulsa, Benjamin Shrader of Tulsa, Trisha Ann Willis of Kaufman, TX, Elizabeth Baker of Kaufman, TX, and Daniel Bergan of Canton, TX; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Heath- Griffith Funeral Chapel. A graveside committal will follow the service at 2pm in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

Visitation will be 8am-8pm, Monday, and 8am-8pm, Tuesday.
