Malcolm Don Jacobs, Sr. of Arlington, Texas passed away at 10:00 P.M. on May 4, 2018, peacefully, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born May 14, 1938 in Seymour, Texas to William and Mable Jacobs .
Malcolm, a retired truck driver of more than 60 years, was a prolific reader that enjoyed history, westerns such as Louis L’Amour and being outdoors. He was of the Messianic faith and a devote reader of the Holy Scriptures.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Sandra Jacobs; both parents; 2 sisters; 1 brother, step grandson and stepson, Dwayne Gonzalves.
Malcom is survived by wife, Joyce Jacobs of Trinidad; sons, Malcolm Jacobs, Jr. and wife, Amy of New York, and Jimmy Jacobs of Texas; daughters, Deborah Williams and husband, Jerry of Texas, Sherry Jacobs and partner, Janet of Tulsa and Kerry Jacobs of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Sue Mitchell and husband, Cloyce of Wichita Falls, Texas; stepson, Jerome Gonzalves of Florida as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Malcolm’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of Malcolm’s life will be held 6:00 P.M., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the River Legacy Parks, 701 North West Green Oaks Boulevard, Arlington, Texas.
