Mable Mae (Blevens) Roach Oberg passed from this life on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Collinsville at 90 years of age. She was born March 14, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Olen and Opal (Beck) Blevens.

Mable has been a resident of Collinsville for nearly the last 11 years, and previously resided in Tulsa. She attended Will Rogers High School and was a graduate of Drumright High School. Mable was previously a restaurant manager for Woolco Store in Tulsa.

Mable married Wiley Eugene Roach, who preceded her in death in 2003. She married James Leroy Oberg on February 14, 2007 in Turley, Oklahoma. Mable was a member of Skiatook Freewill Baptist Church, and she was formerly a member of Highland Park Christian Church in Tulsa. Mable enjoyed reading, traveling, walking, outdoor activities, sightseeing, swimming, and camping, but being active with her kids and their activities was always her primary focus in life.

Mable was preceded in death by her parents, Olen Blevens and Opal Blevens Shelly; her twin brother, Houston Blevens; her first husband, Gene Roach; two stepsons, Terry Womack and Jerry Oberg; and a grandson. She leaves behind her husband, James Leroy Oberg of Collinsville; her daughters: Linda Daniels, Nancy Roach, and husband, Ed Phillips, and Teresa Robey, and husband, Robert – all of Tulsa; two stepchildren: Debbie Provolt, and husband, Monte, and Otis Holt, and wife Lorin – all of California; two siblings: Robert Lee Blevens, and wife Dixie, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mildred Stewart of Flippin, Arkansas; five grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great step-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and numerous extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12pm-8pm Thursday, January 4, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 5, 2018 at Skiatook Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Leonard officiating. A private burial will be held at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home, (918) 446-6633.
