Kirsten Lee Ivey was born September 19, 1996 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the daughter of Gary Wayne and Kimberly Michelle (Mulson) Ivey. She passed from this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years and 8 days.

Kirsten moved to Tulsa from Fort Smith when she was 2 years old. In 2004, she moved to Berryhill and in 2015 she graduated from Berryhill High School where she was on the cheerleading squad. She was in her third year at Tulsa University studying psychology. Kirsten was a member of Solace Church and the youth group at Carbondale Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed shopping, shoes, drawing, dogs and sloths. Kirsten had many friends, whom she loved dearly; they were a huge part of her life. She also fiercely loved her family and devoted much of her time and energy to those dear relationships. Kirsten had a contagious smile, a generous heart, and was the best daughter that any parent could ever hope for. She left a larger than life legacy in her few years on this Earth. Her bright light will continue to shine into eternity.

She is survived by her parents, Gary and Erica Ivey of Berryhill and Michael and Kim Mulson-Hassell of Tulsa; brothers, Jake and Kevin Ivey both of Tulsa; sister, Lauren Hassell of Broken Arrow; sister, Cornelia Saksvik of Norway; grandparents, Gary and Jimmie Mulson of Booneville, Arkansas, Bill and Claudia Powell of Sapulpa and Diana Davis of Tulsa; aunts, Kari Kohler and husband, Robby of Booneville, Arkansas, Toni Edwards and husband, Mark McKnight of Texas and Amy Henderson and husband, Doug of Texas; uncle, Perry Powell and wife, Tosha of Moore; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Kirsten was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Ivey; grandfather, Gary Hassell and her beloved dog, Mia.

May Ave., Suite 108, Oklahoma City, OK 73120) or the Humane Society of Tulsa, 6232 E. 60th St., Tulsa, OK 74135.

Visitation is scheduled for 9am-8pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 with the family present to greet visitors from 5-7 pm.

A funeral service to celebrate Kirsten's life will be held 11 am, Monday, October 2, 2017 at Solace Church, 7314 West 41st Street. Rev. Jeff Walker and Rev. Jay Howard will be officiating. A graveside service will follow in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs.
