Julia Rebecca Suess

Julia Rebecca Suess was born October 17, 1946 in Abilene, Texas the daughter of Raymond Seaborn and Juanita Willie (Ballard) Suess. She passed from this life on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Granbury, Texas at the age of 70 years.

Julia graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1964. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth, Texas and her Masters in Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Julia taught elementary education for 43 years.

Julia was raised Assembly of God and was a former member of Carbondale Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening, art, traveling with her family and being involved in church work.

Her survivors include her mother, Juanita Suess of Granbury, TX; sisters, Esther Stanley and husband, Rev. Don L. of Granbury, TX and Priscilla Lavoie and husband, Dr. John of Charleston, SC; nieces, Amy Vinciguerra and husband, Matthew of Jersey City, NJ and Tami Squires and husband, James of Granbury, TX; nephew, Michael Lavoie of Washington, DC; and great nieces, Alexandra, Jillian and Laney. She was preceded in death by her father and a niece, Ashley Stanley.

A funeral services is scheduled for 10am, Friday, July 28, 2017 in the Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jack Manley will be officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow.
