Richard Lee Robertson was born December 27, 1951 in Tulsa the son of George and Joan (Tofil) Robertson. He passed from this life on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 65 years.
Richard was raised in Skiatook and graduated Skiatook High School in 1970. He moved to Tulsa a few years later and on July 7, 1978 he married Marcia Lynn Abel. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served his country during the Vietnam War. Richard was a supervisor for AT&T and enjoyed playing golf, fishing and doing landscaping in his yard. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
His survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marcia Robertson of Tulsa; sons, Nicholas George Robertson of Tulsa and Kyle Andrew Robertson of Oklahoma City; mother, Joan Robertson of Skiatook; brother, Robert Robertson and wife, Susan of Skiatook; sister, Rhonda Soules and husband, Montie of Skiatook; brother-in-law, Jeff Abel of Sapulpa; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Viewing for Richard will be noon to 8pm on Saturday, September 2nd, 1pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 3rd, 8am to 8pm on Tuesday, September 5th and 8am to 8pm on Wednesday, September 6th.
A funeral mass is scheduled for 1pm, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a private interment in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
