John Harold Ridge was born June 19, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA the son of Harold Wesley and Catherine Marie (Lineman) Ridge. He passed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Bristow at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 8 days.

John was a retired auto mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and helping others with their car problems. He was of the Catholic faith.

His survivors include daughter, Donna Ridge and fiancé, J.D. Wilson of Floresville, Texas; son, Harold Ridge of Creamridge, New Jersey; sister, Catherine Dick of Brick, New Jersey; grandchildren, Katie McCoy, Steven “Gator” McClary, Jeremy Ridge, Tyler McClary, Stephen Ridge, Skylar Ridge, John Ridge and Jennifer Wilson; great grandchildren, Emryl Lemmons and Jude McCoy.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and a son, John Michael Ridge.

Visitation for John will be held 8am-11:30am, Monday, July 31, 2017 and a funeral service is scheduled for 1pm, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Heath-Griffith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Kellyville City Cemetery in Kellyville. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home and an online guestbook is available by visiting
