Angeline “Angie” Heath passed away peacefully in Tulsa on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with her daughter at her side. She was born December 23, 1920 at home in Coalton, Oklahoma, the first child of three, to Charlie Macaluso and Francesca (Aimone) Macaluso. She was raised with brother Joseph Macaluso and sister Teresa Akins who both preceded her in death. While their father worked the coal mines, the children helped their mother work the family’s self-sustaining farm where they raised livestock and tended their vegetable garden. After graduating from Coalton High School, Angie attended Hillcrest Nursing School in Tulsa, where she became a Registered Nurse and worked as an RN for 38 years. Her specialties included geriatric and surgical nursing at Oklahoma Osteopathic and St. Francis hospitals. She married Jack Heath in 1947, and worked heartily at her marriage with her funeral director husband for 69 years. Angie and Jack raised two daughters, Linda and Janet. Angie enjoyed making beautiful ceramics which she loved gifting to people, traveling the country with Jack in their RV, and relaxing at their cabin on Grand Lake. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Heath and Janet Willis; grandchildren, John Moody, Shannon Forbes and Shea Matson; five great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, July 24th at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Tulsa, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Heath-Griffith Funeral Home, www.heathgriffithfuneralhome.com.
