Jaykob Cameron Woodruff was born May 10, 2001 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 15 years, 11 months and 17 days.

Jaykob was a 9th grader at Owasso High School and liked playing football and soccer. He was an aspiring creator of rap music and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing with his nephews. Jaykob was a member of the Revival Center House of Prayer.

Jaykob leaves behind his parents, Scott and Kenya Woodruff of Owasso; sisters, Kendra Woodruff of Tulsa and Sasschelle Woodruff of Owasso; maternal grandparents, Margie and Ronnie Stafford of Owasso and James Huckaby of Granite; paternal grandmother, Janatha Woodruff of Waco, Texas; nephews, Jayvid, Jaydyn, Joseph, Jaycen, Jaxson and Jayvon; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Malaiza Woodruff; paternal grandfather, Carl Woodruff and aunt, Sue Tamplen.

Visitation for Jaykob will be held 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 and 8am to 5pm on Friday, March 31, 2017.

A funeral service to celebrate Jaykob’s life is scheduled for 10am, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Tulsa Hills Baptist Church, 8600 S. Union Ave., Tulsa. A private interment will follow the service in Crown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available by visiting www.heathgriffithfuneralhome.com

    I cannot imagine what you guys are going through. I know how broken I feel inside losing him. He was like a son to me and I loved him dearly. Because if that pain I cannot even process the amount of your pain. I love you all. We are connected and we are family now.
